Its bright enough when set to white to use as a lamp for your desk , working in the garage and need a little more light or camping ect. It also dims way down or can be shut off , color modes are nice . You can set it to change with music or smooth transition and other settings. It's very clean sound that is loud enough to use while working on something fairly noisy and enjoy it . Check it out on nvx's website
